I'm having a bit of an off week, for no reason in particular really, it's just one of those weeks. I'm so tired and all I feel like doing is curling up on the couch watching trashy telly and eating chocolate.
Not much sewing going on here although I am still making slow progress hand quilting my AMH quilt. So to go with my cocooning mood I made myself a pair of slippers.
The pattern is from Natural Patchwork by Suzuko Koseki
A perfectly fun little sewing project to use up some of those scraps!
Have a happy Wednesday!

firstly, i love those slippers, they look amazing. I have that book and I love looking at it - just need to make something now. and I'm so in the same boat with you. All I can do for the last week or so is to sit cuddled up and watch tv after the kids are in bed. :( makes me kind of sad, but I'm hoping it'll pass
ReplyDeleteI saw those slippers via Flickr and you know, they are so cute. Sometimes you just NEED a cute pair of slippers.
ReplyDeleteI love the slippers and your fabric combinations. Feel better soon!
ReplyDeletei'm sorry your week if off. mine is too. the boy has been sick and now he's generously shared it with me :( so, could you do a pattern review? do they fit well? were the instructions helpful? did you make any adjustments? also, i have hardwood floors. any suggestions you'd add to get a little slipper grip? any hints would be appreciated because i'm spending a lot of time in slippers these days :)
ReplyDeleteI love the slippers! Very cosy looking.
