~ Buttercup Bag ~ Fresh Sewing Day #3

I had such good fun reading through all your answers from my previous post!  I think I'll do that more often just throw a couple of random questions in, it's such a nice way to get to know each other a bit better.

Buttercup Bag

Do you have a 'to sew list'? I do, I have all sorts of bookmarks for tutorials I want to try and things that I want to make.  One of the things I had on that to sew list of mine was the Buttercup Bag from Made by Rae  It's such a cute handbag and it uses only two fat quarters!

I'm linking up to Lynne's Fresh Sewing day. Every first of the month she hosts a link up party for anyone that would like to show off something they've made. Go have a look if you like it's fun!

~Fab Friday~ {the things we do for fabric}

Sometimes fabric is so good it's worth jumping through hoops for, we all get that right? So when a friend is in need of dominating the 'Henna Garden Universe'  I am more than willing to oblige ;-)
Kaelin being the sweet person she is, sent me these gorgeous fat quarters as a thank you for helping her out with the international shipping.

I LOVE them! Yay to online friends and fabulous fabric friday's!

Have a great weekend,

~Love~

Every quilt  a mother makes for her baby is special, some are just a little more special than others. Kendra is awaiting the arrival of her adoptive daughter from China, together with her husband and three older brothers. You just know this little girl is going to be loved to bits!! {and probably spoiled rotten too lol!}
She asked us to send her a 5" charm of girly fabric infused with a good wish or a prayer for her to turn into a 100 wishes charm quilt. Now isn't that just the most wonderful idea?! I can't wait to see pictures of her little girl all snuggled up under her 100 wishes quilt :-) It makes me feel all sentimental that I got to contribute one wish together with quilters from all over the world to welcome this child into the world.

100 wishes charm

A princess for a princess, it seems only fitting ;-) I bet Kendra is going to have a blast ,after sewing for all these men in her life, she finally gets to overload on pink now!
